Simultaneous interpreting is a form of interpretation where the interpreter translates  spoken words into another language in real-time while the spoker continues to talk. This is commonly used in events such as conferences, where the interpreter works in a soundproof booth,  listens to the speaker through headphones, and delivers the interpretation through a microphone to the audience.
