Introduction to Archives

The purpose of these courses is to widen students' horizon in the area of Library and information science and its related subjects, Documentation, Archives, Information Management. These  course are to students of Master1 Archival science from department of Library Science,  It is the English for academic purposes, and the language of library and information science, the aime of these courses is:

1. Motivate students to study LSP 
2. To encourage students to write essays and constructing coherent ideas in their own English language.
3. To develop the ability to read and write English text.
4. To encourage to learn some of the aspects related to grammar the use of language 
5. To develop learners' critical thinking
6. To develop the creativity and English communication skill
7. To develop the ability of understanding suject related to Librarianship in particular and Archives
8. The ability to express ideas, feelings and experiences in different contexts and settings
9. To develop the ability of evaluation and analysis  and to summarize text accurately
10. To develop interest in reading articles and reviews
11. To develop knowledge and understanding of technical English and language of Archive and library
