Course Presentation and Pedagogical Objectives:

This course is aimed at students at the end of their training. The sections proposed here are designed to fulfill a single and unique objective: to finalize their training in staging and theatrical criticism. At this stage, the student must be able to analyze a play and write one: similarly, they must be able to understand a theatrical critique and write one, and to be a director. What will be offered to them in this course will consequently allow them to apply what they have learned throughout their training. Likewise, the course includes a forum that will allow the student to freely discuss specific themes related to the world of cinema. The purpose of the lessons is to study the technical terms related to theatrical directing, such as text analysis, the study of design, and the history of theatrical directing in the English-speaking world. English lessons as a secondary foreign language subject aim to facilitate students' use of the terminology required in their specialization.
